About Image Prompt Book
Image Prompt Book is an open-source gallery of image generation prompts. Start from a real example you like, adjust the options that matter, and copy the complete prompt in your language.
A curated collection
This is a personal, curated collection. I choose every prompt by my own taste and publish the ones I find useful and inspiring.
How to use it
- Browse the gallery, search, or filter by category and tag.
- Open a prompt to see its example images, author and license.
- Change the highlighted options inside the text. The complete prompt updates immediately.
- Switch between the short and full versions when both exist, then copy the prompt or open it directly in ChatGPT.
What the example images mean
Example images show what the source or a maintainer actually produced. Changing options never regenerates, filters or swaps an image — the images show the style, not a preview of your current settings.
What this site does not do
- It does not upload your reference images or generate images.
- It does not send your options or prompts to any model provider.
- It has no accounts, ratings or ads, and it does not translate prompts with AI at runtime.
Languages
The interface and every editable template are available in English and Simplified Chinese. Choose your language in the sidebar, or open the navigation menu on mobile. Editable prompts follow that language.
Thanks to the authors
Each prompt page credits the person we believe created it, and the acknowledgements list who made each one.
Sources and takedowns
Prompts are hard to trace back to whoever first wrote them. Most entries here come from GitHub and X (Twitter), and every page names and links its source. Every request below goes through a GitHub issue.
- Credited to the wrong person: if we credited someone who reposted a prompt rather than created it, open a rights request with evidence, such as a link to the earlier original post.
- Default terms: unless the source says otherwise, we treat a publicly shared prompt as fine to share with credit. If you'd rather not be included, open a rights request and we'll remove it.
- Images and real people: AI image results can be unpredictable and may resemble real people or existing works. If you hold the rights to something shown here, including your own likeness, open a rights request and we'll take it down.
